Understanding how the past influences the present and the future
Vision for History
At Dove Bank we aim to create a high-quality Historical curriculum which will ignite children’s curiosity about the past in Britain and the wider world.
Through finding out about how and why the world, our country, culture and local community have developed over time, children understand how the past influences the present.
Subject Leader Biography
Hello my name is Mr Booth and I have the pleasure of leading History at Dove Bank.
I have a love of history and feel it is important we understand events from the past and do not just accept the written word or internet as the whole ‘story’.
