Larch News – November 2021

Larch class have had a great start to the new school year.

We have been immersed in the 1066 era. We have enjoyed travelling back in time and finding out about the Battle of Hasting. Drawing replicas of the Bayeux tapestry.

In English we imagined life as a serf under with a Norman Baron. Reading extracts from diaries and acting out parts of the diary. We decided it would have been incredibly hard in Norman times and decided that we didn’t want to drink beer instead of water either!

This term has seen us begin our Steel Pan Drumming sessions for music. We have all loved the challenges that Pat our music teacher has given us and hope to be able to produce some kind of performance at the end of the year.
